जगण्यासाठीची धडपड –पाऊलवाट

सांगलीच्या अनंत देव या गायकाची ही कथा. संगीत हा या चित्रपटाचा आत्मा. वेगळ्याप्रकारची आणि विविधतेने संगीताच्या बाजानी नटविलेली गाणी..हे या चित्रपटाचे वेगळेपण. चित्रपटात ६ गाणी आहेत. नरेंद्र भिडेंसह सात मराठी तरुणांनी एकत्र येवून केलेली ही निर्मिती. नरेंद्र भिडेयांच्या सांगण्यानुसार आशा भोसलें यांच्या गाण्यांच्या वेळी ते स्वतः भारावून गेले होते. यातल्या शेवटच्या कडव्याची ओळ गाताना आशाताईंच्या डोळ्यात पाणी आल्याचे पाहिले आहे.

दीड वर्ष लागले ही पाऊलवाट पूर्ण व्हायला. पण मराठी रसिकांची दाद नक्की मिलेल अशी आशा सारेच तंत्रज्ञ, कलावंत आणि चित्रपटासाठी आपलेपणाने झटणारे सर्वच करीत आहेत.

पाऊलवाटच्या पत्रकार परिषेदेत सुबोध भावे, ज्योती चांदेकर, मधुरा वेलणकर, किशोर कदम, हषीकेश जोशी, आनंद इंगळे सारेच उपस्थित होते.

आदित्य इंगळे यांचा हा दिग्दर्शक म्हणून पहिला चित्रपट.

नरेंद्र भिडे यांच्या मते ह्षीकेश मुखर्जी आणि राजा परांजपे यांच्या पठडीतला वाटावा असा चित्रपट आदित्य इंगळे यांनी आपल्या दिग्दर्शनातून साकारला आहे.




आपली वेगळी भूमिका या चित्रपटात आहे, हे सांगताना ...हा आपल्या आयुष्यातला स्ट्रगलचाच हा भाग आहे असे ज्योती चांदेकर बोलून गेल्या. पुण्यातून मुंबईकडे जाणारा हा प्रवास चार तासांचा..पण मला माझ्या आयुष्यात तो करायला तब्बल ४० वर्षे लागली....ही खंत त्या व्यक्त करतात. त्यातला अर्थ जाणकार नक्कीच ओळखू शकतील.

हा चित्रपट म्हणजे कलेसाठी जगण्याचा मार्ग दाखवितो असे मधुरा वेलणकर सांगतात. सुबोध भावे यांनाही हा आपलाच प्रवास वाटतो.. कलाकारांच्या स्ट्रगलचे हे चित्रण पुष्पांग गावडे यांनी केले आहे. सींमा देव यांनी सारंगीया उस्मान खॉं यांच्या पत्नीचा छोटा रोल केला आहे. तो सारंगीया झालाय किशोर कदम. त्यांना सीमा देव यांच्यासोबत काम करण्याचा वेगळा अनुभव गाठीशी आलाय.


अभिराम भडकमकरांची कथा असून त्यांचा पटकथा व संवादातही सहभाग आहे. वैभव जोशी या कवीच्या विविध कविता वेगवेगळ्या मूडमधल्या या चित्रपटात ऐकायला मिळणार आहेत.

१८ नोव्हेंबरला पुण्यासह मुंबई, सांगली, कोल्हापूर, सोलापूर आणि नाशिक इथं १७२ चित्रपटगृहात एकाचवेळी प्रदर्शत होतो आहे.. प्रतिक्षा आहे. या मनोरंजनाच्या बाजारु जगात पाऊलवाट...स्वतःचे स्थान कसे निर्माण करते ते.

Narendra Bhide

'Music is life' for Narendra Sadashiv Bhide (Creative Director, DSPL), one of the paramount contemporary music directors in the Marathi Film, Tele and Theatre Industry. His Civil Engineering degree has nothing to do with his profession as he has composed and arranged music for numerous films, serials and plays in his career.



Narendra comes from a family of great repute in Pune.

His father, Shri. S.D. Bhide is a renowned teacher and was instrumental in setting up the Karve Stree Shikshan Sansthas' Cummins Engineering College .

Narendra's mother comes from a family, which has made a solid mark in the world of Marathi Theatre. Celebrated actor and director, Shri. Chintamanrao Kolhatkar is Narendra's great grandfather. Distinguished playwright Shri. Bal Kolhatkar and noted actor Shri. Chittaranjan Kolhatkar are his grandfathers. Eminent director and actor Shri. Dilip Kolhatkar is his uncle (Mama). Narendra's elder brother, Mohan lives in Vancouver , Canada and is an excellent classical harmonium player. He is a software engineer by profession and accompanies stalwarts like Pt. Jasraj, Sanjeev Abhyankar, Upendra Bhat, and many others when they tour the US and Canada. It is this traditionally strong institution which has infused talent and nurtured the art of music in Narendra.

Such a strong family structure can only be countered by Narendra's other half, Mukta Narendra Bhide (Managing Director, DSPL). Her great grandfather, Shri. Purshottamshastri Nanal was a leading Vaidya in Pune. The tradition of Ayurved runs in the Nanal family from the days of early Peshwai. Her grandfather, Shri. Madhuanna Nanal too was an esteemed name in the Indian medical field. Her father, Shri. Ramesh Nanal and uncle, Shri. Vilas Nanal are walking on similar paths and are considered to be extremely talented in the world of Ayurved.

Mukta's mother, Smt. Madhavi Nanal is a well known singer mainly of the Gwalior Gharana of Hindustani Classical Music. She has won the coveted Sur Singar Parishad's Soormani Award. She is extremely engrossed in the activities of the Sangeet Shikshak Sangh. She is the founder of Madahavi Prakashan, a publication dedicated to Classical Music and Ayurved. Narendra is an accomplished man in both Hindustani and Western classical music. He started learning Harmonium from Shri Balasaheb Mate at an early age. He sat at the feet of prima donnas such as Ustaad Mohammad Hussein Khan, Shri Sudhir Datar, Sou. Shaila Datar and Shri Suhas Datar and mastered Hindustani Classical vocals. He got his training in Western Classical Music from Shri Hemant Godbole. He had an opportunity to get valuable guidance from noted Indian Classical vocalist and a reputed name on Marathi theatre Swararaj Chhota Gandharva. Since then, Narendra is on his musical journey as a composer, music arranger and the Creative Director of 'Dawn Studios Pvt. Ltd.', a studio based in Pune. He is also an 'Approved Composer' for All India Radio.

A person who pays his dues certainly gets rewarded in life. Similarly, Narendra has won several accolades and awards for his work including the esteemed Ashtapailu Sangeetkar Puraskar (2000-01) by Akhil Bharatiya Sugam Sangit Sammelan, Ma Ta Sanman and Zee Gaurav Puraskars for the music of Makdachya Hati Champagne and another Zee Gaurav for the 2008 play 'Khelimeli'. And after all this, he definitely still has a long way to go through the rhythmic paths in life; on and on and on…

Apart from his love of music, Narendra enjoys travelling and is an avid reader. He is a keen lover of Marathi literature and poetry as well. He has composed many poems of Kusumagraj, Ba Bha Borkar, Govindagraj, Anil, Na Gha Deshpande, Grace, Shantabai Shelke, Na Dho Mahanor, Sudheer Moghe, Aruna Dhere and many others.These compositions are included in a show called Shrutichitre which is well appreciated in Pune and Mumbai. A concert of his compositions was recently telecast on a well known Marathi TV Channel 'Saam TV'
